Hi,
when working for multiple clients for which I maintain or contribute to their individual workspaces, it would be helpful to be able to open multiple workspaces at once.
That would also greatly help in organizing, backing up and exporting / sharing them. I currently have >150 Workflows. Many of which are related to forum support and bug hunting.
Best

Hey,
let me try to feel a bit into your motivation here. Why would you not just create individual folders inside your one local space? What would you be missing from that strategy?
Best,
Ben
It is growing too large in CUI and with the more generous use of space in MUI even more. The advantage I see in splitting one workspace into multiple is that you follow a more client/object-agnostic approach.
It would also enable to orientate quicker. I.e. I currently have one folder for my business. That contains business related as well as client workflows. Withing each client I have sub folder per project which contain multiple workflows.
Shared workflows are located in a distinct folder either for the client or general. Then I got folders for Forum Support and another for features and bug hunting. Then my private stuff and playground.
Well organized but quite wild already. In a large corporation or enterprise I can imagine to have one workspace per department. Being able to open multiple in parallel would help keep things organized perfectly.
For sure.
On Community and Business Hubs, we already have the concept of multiple Spaces. Spaces are also the unit for managing e.g. permissions.
This could in principle be done analogously for the local mountpoint space provider as well. Though in the end they would still just be literal folders in the local file system.
Best,
Ben
