alternative to Conda

Our company is removing Anaconda from its repository of available solutions.

In Prefereneces there seems to be only the Anconda option for environments, Is it possible to point at a different method other than Conda / miniconda ?

@mgirdwood since their latest announcement a lot of companies are becoming aware that Anaconda in fact is not ‘free’. The alternative is using Miniforge, Conda and packages only from conda-forge as being described in this article:
