My computer is an old macbook running OSX 10.9.5 and I’ve been advised against updating the operating system because of how old the machine is. I need to install a working version of KNIME for a class I’m currently enrolled in and would like advice on choosing the most recent version(s) that should still be compatible with my old operating system. Thank you for any and all assistance.
If you are able to install Java 8 on your laptop you can use the latest version of KNIME. You can get it from Oracle here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
