Hello. I am a relatively new KNIME user. Version 5.7. I have a couple of workflows. All of a sudden the BROWSE button is not launching in the Excel Reader nodes. Even if I try to create a new workflow, it does not launch. I have searched and read the existing topics but nothing seems to identify a fix. I am getting around the issue by manually update the filepath, but I would like to create new workflows and not have this issue. Is there a solution?

Welcome to KNIME! Do you mean the “Browse” button appears locked as in restricted file access or the node dialog isn’t opening? Please provide screenshots if possible ![]()

Hello, Thank you for the reply. The Excel reader node is working and the node dialog is opening. In the “File and Sheet” tab, when I want to use the “browse” button to update the file to use, nothing happens when I click the browse button. It has been working fine up until recently. It does not work on any of the workflows that I have, nor if I create a brand new workflow. I can manually get around the issue by typing in the new filename that I need, but this is just a work around and not a real solution. I have attached some screenshots. Appreciate your help.
