[Bug] $ in Column Name

I am not sure, whether this bug is already solved (I use Knime 3.5.3), but I have not found this topic in the forum.

I have several Column names with “$” in the name. There is a bug, if you use this columns in nodes like „Math Formula“ and „Rule-based Row Splitter“. The same columns works, if I rename the columns without using “$”

Hi there!

In those kind of nodes columns is referenced in following way: $colName$ so having $ sign in your column name presents a problem.

Not sure you can avoid it without changing column name. Replace $ with DOL maybe :slight_smile: At the end of a workflow you can change it back.
