Bug in Variance Filter?!

Hello,

We have an image stack and apply the Variance Filter node.

When we select the X & Y dimensions for computing the variance, it works fine!

Also selecting X,Y & Z works fine.

However, when we only select Z, the node runs forever....

Shall I post an example pipeline or could you reproduce this like this?

Hi Christian,

It would be very helpful if you could upload an example workflow that reproduced this issue. The node worked correctly for me when I tried reproducing your error, so I think it must be a more specific issue.
