BUG – Knime won't start after update to 4.1.3 (Linux on AWS WorkSpace)

Hi,

after updating Knime to 4.1.3 I can not start the application anymore. Log attached.

Hi Mike, it looks like the update broke the installation, can you try starting KNIME using the -clean parameter from the command line?

./knime -clean

That could help repair the installation.

Thanks Gabriel. That enabled to start the corrupted Knime app. I ended up downloading and re-installing all extensions, though. Do you need anything to hunt down the cause or do you consider it resolved?

Thank you for the quick response, I am glad it did end up working, even if not quite as expected. I would consider this resolved, unless you run into this problem again. If that happens please let us know.
