Description:
When using “Save As”, and you save the workflow using the same name, I don’t think it is overwriting workflow. I found this quite accidentally (in a production environment )
Steps to reproduce:
Open a workflow in the local space
Do some changes and save in existing place
Now do a few more changes and save it in a different place
Close the workflow
Open the workflow from Step 3
Do some changes and do a “Save As” and overwrite the workflow, using the same name as-in Step 2
For this test, you MUST use the same name for the workflow.
Actual results:
The original workflow is still there. None of the changes are shown even though “Save As” and Overwrite was used.
Expected results:
Latest version should be there…“Save As”
@sw1336 Sidenote: create a seperate workspace for this kind of event. Just export and import some workflows. Do not use your production space for this, it is not worth the risk.
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you reliably reproduce it? or did it happen just once? If you can reproduce, would you share more details. If you have a video recording you can share as a GIF please.
