Obviously I'm a new Knime user!
I'm trying to start my workflow with an easy step, reading an xls file which is stored somewhere on the cloud, but It seems that the link that I have doesn't target directly to the file "http://www... ...file.xls. For this reason I'm not able to read it with a simple "Excel Reader".
My link is "http://www.idescat.cat/pub/?id=aec&n=246&f=xls" , it seems a petition to an API.
Please, some clues?

I had a look at your question. I have tried to use the GET Request node and then the Html Parser node to see if I could find the true xls link; but it seems I did not. Anyway, you could try with those two nodes or with the Selenium nodes (https://seleniumnodes.com/download).
