Can I append or add information to an existing PDF?

I have a set of PDFs. I have some additional information that needs to be in a specific format either appended to the existing PDFs (perhaps in the footer) or as second pages. Is there a way to edit a PDF, embed a PDF into a report, or combine two PDFs?

and welcome to KNIME Community!

To my knowledge BIRT (which is integrated with KNIME) and used for reporting doesn’t feature such possibility. In theory you could read your PDF reports in KNIME using Tika Parser or PDF Parser and then from that data create same report with additional information you need but seems too much of a hassle to me.

I haven’t been able to sort out how to extract images from a PDF… is there a way to do that? I would happily recreate the reports if I could extract all the content as is, or even turn the PDF into an image that I could embed.
