Can we customize shortcut keys in Modern UI?

when in classic UI, I can customize the shortcut keys as below.

But when I change to Modern UI, the configuration disappears. My configuration in classic UI is also not effective.

Hey @cuimaple,

The hotkeys in the modernUI, you will select Help → Show keyboard shortcuts.

Hi,
there is not such option, and I want to customize keyboard shortcuts, not only show it. Customizing keyboard shortcuts is available in classic UI.

Ahh I see,

I am on version 5.3.2 and it does appear there.

Are you perhaps on an earlier version? If so, there are regular updates of moving classical UI functionalities over to the modern UI side. Perhaps this was one that was a bit more recent.

I am in 5.2.3, not sure if it is version issue, it annoys me a lot :upside_down_face:

At this point I would say your best bet is to upgrade AP and see if this fits your needs.

Unfortunately customized hot keys are not available in the modern UI just yet as it is built on a different framework than the classic UI, so you will only see those pre-populated hot keys for the modern UI at the moment, and you must upgrade your version of KNIME AP in order to see those keyboard shortcuts. I am on 5.3.2 and I can see the shortcuts in the modern UI. Is there a specific shortcut you are looking for at the moment, and I can let you know if it is in the 5.3.2 version?
