After I installed the KNIME (knime-full_3.0.0.linux.gtk.x86_64.tar.gz) there is no way to launch it, after the first time (right after the installation), eg.: there is no executable icon/application.
How to launch it?
Under Linux KNIME comes packed as a tar.gz file, which you simply have to unpack. You can extract the content of the file whereever you like (most likely somewhere in your home directory). In the extracted folder there is a file called "knime" which you can run by double-clicking on it.
