Can't install Base Nodes

Good afternoon,

Installation of the Base Nodes, String Manipulation, Rule Engine etc, does not work. Nothing happens when clicking on Next.

PS: Restarting Knime I happen to recognize the following error (OS X)

Hi @mw,

Would you please explain how the problem occurred?
Are they really missing?
The “KNIME Base nodes” feature is part of KNIME core and as far as I know, they cannot be uninstalled.

I simply reinstalled Knime 4.2 and while opening my workflows to trigger auto-installation of missing extensions I happen to recognize the Base Nodes are missing. Searching for then didn’t bring them forth either. Got a bit curious because they come by default, though.

I ended up once again installing from scratch. They are now present.

FYI @armingrudd, seems Knime also struggles to finds nodes in the repositories. Just had another example but when searching and installing manually everything went smoothly.
