Can't install extension form archive

Just got a new laptop at work and am trying to get Knime up and running again. Due to the corporate firewall, I can’t load extension from the online sources, so I have to rely on the zip archives. In that past that worked ok, but no such luck currently.

I’m running Knime 5.3.1, and I’m using the following archive files (with the online sources disabled in preferences):

com.knime.update.partner_5.3.0.zip
CommunityContributions_5.3_202408060318.zip
TrustedCommunityContributions_5.3_202408060327.zip

When trying to open a workflow making use of some nodes form the ‘Knime Data Generation’ extension, Knime wants to search for the missing extensions, and then I get a 'No extensions for the following nodes were found…" error.

I can’t drag and drop from the extension page, and there seems to be no way to just download the extension manually. I still have the old laptop with a properly working Knime 5.2.4 install. Could I potentially identify (how?) the required jar files, and just copy them over to the new machine?

Replying to my own message now, as soon after typing it up, it appeared to me to look at the console messages and there I could find the name of the extension. I found it on the old machine, copied it over, and it seems to work now.
Still the question remains, why the archive files are not working?

@pipetman you can try to use the latest versions of the archives which would be the right one for your version.

Also you can just ZIP the whole KNIME program folder and transfer it to your new laptop.
