Can't install update v. 5.5 due to conflicting dependency.

Hello fellow KNIMErs!

I am interested in updating to the latest iteration of KNIME (5.5.0) from my current installation (5.4) but currently cannot install it due to some dependencies issue.

The complete readout of the status “Details” box is below my signature for reference. Im just wondering how I go about resolving this issue. Can someone please provide me step-by-step guidance into how to resolve this issue. I would be so appreciative. Many thanks!

The culprit is the NodePit extension that you have installed. You need a version of NodePit that is compatible with KNIME Analytics Platform 5.5.

@Cole_Kingsbury Please check your update site configuration and make sure you are using the update site for KNIME 5.5:

https://download.nodepit.com/5.5

If the problem still persists with the modified update site due to some weird upgrading dependencies, please uninstall NodePit, update your KNIME to 5.5, and install NodePit again from the above mentioned update site. But I hope that’s not necessary :crossed_fingers:
