Hi @Startide, often this type of issue can occur if you (or your colleague in this case) are being blocked by your network e.g. using a firewall or proxy server.
Are you normally able to access the KNIME updates and extensions directly from KNIME?
Does it work ok on your pc, but not work on your colleague’s? Is it possible they have different network configuration outside of KNIME, where perhaps they are using a proxy server but you are not?
Have you been able to install anything else directly (eg from the community hub) on your colleague’s PC?
If your pc has access, but your colleague’s pc doesn’t, it may be you need to download the zip file onto your pc and then transfer it, or give (share) access to the file.
Thanks a bunch, indeed their knime doesn’t update either through the gui, and yes that’s probably a proxy issue. Weirdly enough that works on my own laptop despite them both being managed by our employer… weird weird
I’ll try the local / manual update and let you know.
