Checking in on Tableau Node Issues

One of our devs looked at your logs and wasn’t able to find anything definitive. He hypothesized it might be a couple of issues at play:

1. Expiration of your Tableau access token, the length of which is hardcoded in the node (AP-19366)
2. The chunk size we use to send data is too small, also hardcoded (AP-19783)

We have tickets in place to address these issues, and added +1s from you on both. Sorry I don’t have better news for you in the short term.

Curious if there’s an update on these as the issues seem to still persist on my end.

I checked the ticket numbers referenced above and don’t have anything I can relay there. Let me ask one of the developers and see if I can get any additional information.

Small update here: chunk size issues seem to have been addressed in another ticket (AP-21446), but the Tableau access token expiration issue is still open.
