colorimetric deformation map

Hello,
As part of an internship, I’m working on sexual dimorphism of the maxilla in immatures. To do this, I’ve created average shapes by age in 3D, which I’d like to compare with each other (intra-age, inter-sex).
I used ANTS to calculate the Jacobian determinant and the deformation, then visualized the result on MRIcron, with colorimetric maps, to get a 2D view of the sections and a 3D view of the deformations (areas of contraction and dilation).
However, manipulating the 3D shape on MRIcron isn’t the easiest thing to do.
Do you have any other solutions or recommendations for a job like this?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hi @labayssecapu ,
Welcome to the KNIME Community!

The use case you mentioned seems quite interesting. Are you trying to solve it using KNIME? If yes, please share a sample workflow with the dummy data (if the data is confidential) so we can look at it.

Thanks,
Sanket
