Community Hub: No communication of scheduled maintenance?

Hi,

in lieu of:

KNIME Community Hub – Maintenance window

Hello everyone, On Friday morning at 9 AM CET/ 3 AM ET, we are planning a maintenance window for the KNIME Community Hub (hub.knime.com). During this time, the KNIME Community Hub may not be reachable via the browser, and you may experience connectivity issues when trying to connect to it from the KNIME Analytics Platform. The duration is planned to be about 1 hour. New features are coming – stay tuned!

I wonder if the current maintenance window was really planned as I cannot see a similar notification but the Community Hub just went down.

PS: Ther error page is responding with a fake 200 which is concerning since it poses the risk of not measuring outages internally in a correct way.

Hi Mike,

You are correct we should have posted about the planned maintenance publicly, not just send an email to paid subscribers. We’ll do so in the future.
Also thank you for bringing up the error code. We have already started an internal discussion based on the comment!
