Component and Meta-Node

I have a Component that generates flow variables. When the component is a meta node then the workflow variables generated, unfortunately when it is component they do not exist.
What could be?

Did you enclose the flow variables by configuring the Component Metanode (ctrl-click-click).

Hi @malik, good question.

By default components don’t pass flow variables outside of themselves. This is to help keep your workflows tidy of excess variables.

To allow for flow variables to be passed out of your component you can right click on the component output block inside your component and set the variables to be passed out of the node to the green include box.
