Configuration Menu Disappeared in New Update

I believe the new update 5.5 has caused the configuration menu to disappear on any node:

It appears when switching back to the old UI. Running on Win10.

Hello @qdmt ,
If you click on the node, can you see the panel on the right side of your screen?

If you prefer the old way, you can still access separate windows by navigating to Preferences → KNIME → KNIME Modern UI → Node configuration in dialog mode → Open in new window.

If you’re using KAP 5.5.0, the node configuration is in a flyout on the right side. It doesn’t open automatically. Do this:

You’re not an idiot. This new feature is not well documented and is not intuitive.

Especially since the legacy config menus still pop up. And for a new node like Expressions, you can still click “Expand” to pop it up. So why not just keep the Expand / Popup in the context / right-click menu?
