Configuration option "Support short Data rows" is missing in CSV Reader

Hi,

since KNIME AP 5.11.0 the option to support short data rows is missing or hidden in the new UI. In the previous version the option was available.

Can this be improved?

As a workaround you can use the “File Reader”. There you still have this option.

just a quick question, since I have not upteaded to 5.11
Is just the checkbox missing or is the csv reader actually not reading the file anymore?

If it’s not reading the file anymore…then it really needs to be fixed.

for me it seems that only the checkbox is missing, but you can read files in general.

But for me this is an essential feature, because my processed files often contain missing values.

I didn’t mean reading files in general.
I meant reading in files that, in previous versions of Knime, needed that checkbox to be read.

So if you could read files before with the csv reader, but not anymore with 5.11 - that is a problem.
File Reader might be an alternative, but then it is a breaking change for existing workflows (which would be a big pain to fix, in my case).

Therefore the option needs to be restored (or be enabled in general, even with a missing checkbox).
