Connecting to databases (Eurostat, World Bank, ...)

Dear all,

for quite some time I have been looking for a way to use KNIME to automate some of my economic research and create dashboards/data tables that I could refresh without the necessity to download data in Excel. Given my limited experience with databases and API’s (?), I was hoping that someone could help with this matter. For example, I would be interested in analyzing this GDP table.
