Connection to Community Hub through Desktop intermittently stops working

Dear community,

I am writing this post to signal an annoying issue I’m facing on a regular basis.

My version of Knime Analytics Platform is the 5.4.4, and I run it on Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631.

My company uses ZScaler for proxy management.
This is where the “fun” begins. I had to manually configure the proxy settings in Knime, using the actual proxy host. Sometimes, connection to Community Hub through the client will work like a charm, and sometimes it will totally refuse to connect and will just return this error :

There are no regular pattern for this error to pop.
Any idea of why this intermittence appears and how to solve it ?

Can you check the knime.log during the time of issue reported?
Seems the knime community hub URL is not reachable which report this error normally and points to network or zscalar proxy policy block.

During the time of issue, I would suggest to check if you are able to access the community hub URL from the browser (Chrome or Edge) or not.
