Connection to the Spotfire using information from KNIME

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to connect TIBCO Spotfire 7.11.0 with KNIME 5.5.0 using the TIBCO Spotfire Information Link Reader node in KNIME. However, I’m encountering an error during the setup process and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Has anyone successfully configured this integration before? If so, could you please share the steps or any tips that might help resolve this issue?

Hi Bipin,

I’m afraid you’re using unsupported versions of both Spotfire and KNIME for the KNIME Spotfire nodes to work.

Spotfire 7.11 has been out of support since 2021. I strongly urge you or your organisation to upgrade to a more recent version of Spotfire. Spotfire 7.11 was released almost 8 years ago. There have been so many improvements since then, including a multitude of security and functionality improvements!

You also need to use KNIME 5.1 or 5.2, as those are the currently supported versions of KNIME.
