Copying (archive) old files to new folder when new file generated

Hi KNIMERs,

I really hope for your advice on how to achieve below goal.

I have an old flow ended with Excel writer to generate an excel file.
Before overwriting the old excel sheet with new data, I want to modify the flow to let KNIME automatically copy the old files to a new folder first. the copied files’ name will have suffix as date added. then excel writer can overwrite the targeted sheet in old files.

this is what I call Archiving old files before overwriting data.

Is there a way to do this?

@mysteri_guy you can copy and existing file to a new location with a different name

Also you can create a file name that has a timestamp in it
