COULD NOT OPEN WORKFLOW

my best guess is unlucky coincidence…

What I typically do is every now and then:

  • save the workflow and close it
  • right-click the workflow in the explorer tab and duplicate it:

  • this creates sort of a backup…

especially when I am developing quite fast I do this every hour or so and then also before starting any major changes and updates.

For a more robust solution you could use KNIME Hub (either business or community on a team plan) and use the versioning feature.

Another way would be @mwiegand s solution to backup entire workspaces…
