Create Firefox Browser Instance on Linux server

Dear @AnotherFraudUser ,

Your community extension and Create Firefox Browser Instance node run great on my Windows laptop, when I tried to run it on Linux KNIME Server, I can’t find suitable path for firefox executable file.

Is it possible to run this node on a Linux machine? Thank you.

Hi @scnliuqin,

at least in the past I got it to run on a linux server.

There I just added a standalone firefox executable
Or you could check if your server already has a firefox executable somewhere.

*Important for me was to run the nodes with headless mode.

But as I currently have no access to a linux server cannot provide a step by step guide

But ti answer your question - it should work

Thanks for your confirmation.
Instead of using firefox which installed from package manager, I tried to use executable from https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest&os=linux64, now it’s working.

Have a great day.
