Good morning. I completed the 5.4.3 upgrade last week and I have no access to any Databricks node. When I attempt to reinstall KNIME Databricks Integration I cannot progress beyond the Next button. Any suggestions? I posted on Friday morning but no response yet. Thanks!
Hello @TruckShare24_7 ,
it seems that the update didn’t work properly for the Databricks Extension.
Can you please try to uninstall it as explained (see last paragraph here). Just search for Databricks on the Installed Software tab. Once uninstalled restart KNIME and try to install the Databricks integration again.

Thank you Tobias. I still have the same issue. Databricks Integration version 5.4.1 shows as installed but none of the Databricks nodes show as available. Especially Create Databricks environment. I tried to drag and drop the node from the hub and that doesn’t work either.
Hello @TruckShare24_7 ,
can you please try the following:
- Close KNIME Analytics Platform
- Go to the KNIME installation folder
- Open the knime.ini file in a text editor
- Add the following line as first line into the file:
-clean
- Start KNIME and try to install the Databricks Extension
If this solves the problem close KNIME and remove the added line from the knime.ini file since it will slowdown the startup. If this doesn’t solve the problem I’m afraid you need to uninstall KNIME and install it again.
Bye
Tobias
Thank you very much Tobias! I had to use the nuclear option and uninstall/reinstall. But it worked and all of my workflows survived. I really appreciate your help!
