date&time widget variable bug

I try to get a variable with date 2025-06-01 into the date&time widget as default. No way to do it. Unable to parse date.
Is this a known bug in 4.7.8?

I have not tried this in 4.x, however in newer versions of KNIME you need to pass the format of zoned date&time - you can read more about it in my post here:

Ah yes… it took me a long time to figure this one out… You actually need to pass in a string that contains date, time and time zone! I figured this out by creating a flow variable for the output the widget creates by filling in the text field in flow variables tab: [image] For test purposes I created two string variables, one with and one without timezone: [image] When using the one w/o timezone I get the same error as you: [image] When passing in the variable with timezone it works: […
