Decision Tree View (Javascript) returns error

Hello
I am using Decision Tree View. It is working fine on my mac but it is returning an error below:

Node: SINGLE
Message:View initialization failed: ReferenceError: d3 is not defined

I guess the d3 is Javascript d3.js. This is the first time I use Decision Tree View.
KNIME version is 5.1.2

Hi @jh85,
Welcome to the KNIME forum! You say “It is working fine on my mac but it is returning an error below”. Do you mean that error occurs on another system? Or does the view work and still shows the error? I just updated to 5.1.2 and I cannot reproduce the issue.

Thank you Alexander. Yes the error occurs on another system (Windows11). I uninstalled KNIME and installed it back again but the error still occurs. I also installed node.js and installed d3 module , but it did not help either.

Windows 11 user, with fully updated KNIME program & I’m getting the same error. No idea how to fix it.

Hi,
Thank you for reporting this. Turns out this problem is know to our developers and already scheduled to be fixed in our next bugfix release. Look out for the issue number AP-21059 in our changelog. In the meantime, you can use the Decision Tree to Image node. Might not be as pretty, but has similar functionality.
