I have scheduled workflows that I do not want to discard immediately but maybe after a couple weeks. Is there a way to do this automatically? I hate having to go into the KNIME Explorer and delete the older workflow executions.

you can discard old workflow executions via the Admin page of the KNIME Webportal.
This is what I do, like once a month, I clean all the old jobs.

I have to agree and +1 coconnor's suggestion to have old job executions deleted automatically, rather than doing this automatically. For example, a way to have jobs expire and be automatically deleted after 1 months would be great for saving disk space.
This can be configured with the server configuration option com.knime.server.job.max_lifetime. The default is seven days of inactivity. See the admin manual for details.
