Does the KNIME Spatial Processing Nodes extension still work with Knime v5.xx?

I’m doing some geospatial work. I see there is the Geospatial Analytics Extension for KNIME, which I’ve installed and works quite well. However, the Knime AI assistant often recommends nodes from the KNIME Spatial Processing Nodes extension too. I’ve checked it out, but I see it is linked to an older update site http://update.knime.com/community-contributions/4.7 . I’ve tried adding the link and installing the extension, but I get this error:

This makes me wonder if this extension is even updated to work with Knime 5.xx? Has it been superseded by the Geospatial Analytics Extension?

I see @Anirudh has also been having trouble installing KNIME Spatial Processing Nodes extension. Any word from @samthiriot about the status of the extension?

yes, unfortunately there are no updates on that extension on the KNIME Community update sites anymore further than 4.7.

However, you could have a look here and follow it and to see whether it works for 5.x:
