Description: When attempting to install the latest AI extension the following error message is provided:
An error occurred while installing the items

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Using the standard update sites in Preference = Error
  2. Using the provided Update archive provided in the hacking details = Error

There seem to be problems with Python extensions on several occasions. I went thru my history of tickets (47971, 47650, 39382). They usually get closed because after a reboot it seems to work. Possibly a Python process is still running in the background.

If one is used to handling updates and versions this is not a big deal, but I assume other people might get irritated.
