Error installing Offline Big Data Knime Extensions

Hi, I have an offline environment which prohibits me from accessing the Knime hosted repositories to install the extensions. Then, through this link, https://update.knime.org/analytics-platform/UpdateSite_latest37.zip I downloaded the extension. Followed the guidelines https://www.knime.com/downloads/update and when I tried to install the big data extensions, I met this error:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: KNIME Extension for Local Big Data Environments 2.4.1.v201904171200 (org.knime.features.bigdata.spark.local.feature.group 2.4.1.v201904171200)
Missing requirement: KNIME Hive Connector 3.7.2.v201904171200 (org.knime.bigdata.hive 3.7.2.v201904171200) requires ‘bundle org.knime.cloud.core [3.4.0,4.0.0)’ but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: KNIME Big Data Connectors 3.7.2.v201904171200 (org.knime.features.bigdata.connectors.feature.group 3.7.2.v201904171200)
To: org.knime.bigdata.hive [3.7.2.v201904171200]
Cannot satisfy dependency:

I installed by unzipping the archive and access it from help > install new software

But, if I access the archive file without unzipping it, (like how it is mentioned in the second link above), I am met with this error:

Unable to read repository at jar:file:/C:/Users/CP689388/Downloads/org.knime.update.analytics-platform_3.7.2.zip!/content.xml.

Would anyone kindly help me in this error and how to install these on my offline environment?

Hi there!

You should leave it zipped.

Did you disable Update sites?
Info: If the same extensions are also provided by a remote update site, you will first have to disable that update site by deselecting its entry in the Available Software Sites dialog and confirming via Apply and Close.

If yes can you try installing any other extension?

So, if I leave it as zip, I met this error:

Unable to read repository at jar:file:/C:/Users/CP689388/Downloads/org.knime.update.analytics-platform_3.7.2.zip!/content.xml.

I tried to unzip after I met this error, but I can only install some packages, but for Big Data, I cannot install anything.

One solution could be to install a complete KNIME on a machine that has internet connection, then pack the whole KNIME folder into a ZIP file and transfer it to the machine that does not have the access. Not the most elegant way but since you will have to move file manually anyway you could do just that.
