ERROR: triggerReExecution Message:Client-side validation failed. Please check the page for errors.

Hi,
I created a view with some filters included with the Re-execution option active.
the view and the filters run correctly but I am getting this error every time I change any filters, and it is too annoying :frowning:

Any idea what is wrong?!

I still get these errors and it is frustrating :frowning:

Hi @marvin.kickuth ,
can you please look at this topic and give me some insight?

Hi Sajjad,

I’m sorry to see you’re running into a rather generic error. I’m not sure it is possible to deduce the root cause of the issue based on the screenshots.

Would you be able to share a (reduced / redacted) version of the workflow here, so that others can locally reproduce the error on their end? The saved workflow also contains the KNIME version that was used to save it, which may be important if this issue is specific to a KNIME version.

See also here for a few pointers on what information can help others investigate issues as quickly as possible.

Kind regards
Marvin

Hi @marvin.kickuth,
My knime version is: 5.1.2
here is the sample workflow:
Re-execution warning error.knwf (581.2 KB)

Hi Sajjad,

Thanks for sharing this reproduction workflow. With it, we were able to drill down into the error.

Regrettably, this is a non-trivial bug on our end with no simple workaround. You will experience the error, should the table not have fully loaded at the time of a refresh being triggered. It will then take a few seconds until the errors are observed. We are tracking this issue internally as AP-21640 (I can’t promise a resolution time, but once it is resolved, it will show up in our changelog).

A workaround would be to wait a bit longer before interacting with the data app, or possibly speeding up the table view (reducing the data to be loaded).

Thank you for reporting this and again sorry for the unpleasant experience.

Kind regards
Marvin

Hi Marvin,

Thank you for following up and checking my question.
I started doubting myself about what I did wrong :))
I hope this problem will be solved soon.
