Excel Reader File Path Variable

Hi all,

I am trying to feed a file path variable to the new Excel Reader node.

The ‘path’ input variable is greyed out and prevents me from selecting the location variable, which is generated by a Table Row To Variable Loop Start looping through file path strings.

Also when I select the ‘v’ icon it reads < no matching vars >.

I just want to check if I am missing something simple here to get this working? It worked in the deprecated version.

Hi @sjmartin,

I guess you are actually having string variables and need to convert them to paths using the String to Path (Variable) node.

Thanks @SimonS, using String to Path (Variable) sorted this out!
