External SSH Tool - Connection Session Timeout

Hello,

I would like to inquire about the External SSH Tool node.

Run Python code by connecting to the remote host through the External SSH Tool node.

However, the KNIME server shows that the external SSH tool node is still running after about an hour, but when I checked on the remote server, it seems that the connection is lost. The remote server created a file with a result file.

KNIME Server’s Version is 4.6.1.

  1. My understanding of that node is that it is a node that is used through SSH connection, so I think the connection to the KNIME Server will be maintained only if the session timeout of the remote server is increased, right?

  2. Or is there a property value that needs to be set on the KNIME server to maintain connection to the remote server?

    • The value of com.knime.server.job.max_execution_time is set to default.
