Failure to install offline extensions in KNIME Analytics Platform version 5.2

Hello,
I’ve checked, but the KNIME Analytics Platform version 5.2 version cannot be installed when installing the extension offline.
The OS I checked is Windows and Mac.

Please check it out.

Hi @geonjukim,

sorry about the installation issue when working with offline update archives. This is indeed a bug in version 5.2.0. It is resolved in KNIME 5.2.1.

In 5.2.0, you can work around the issue by switching to “classic user interface” (via Menu in the top right) and then installing extensions via Help > Install New Software….
