In terms of Inputs and Outputs its possible to read and write to files. However, is it possible to be able to write to an internal location in KNIME. For example, you may create a small table early in the workflow as a side branch of your main workflow, and then you want to reuse this later in the workflow. Would it be possible to have this output to an internal location and call it just a name (i.e. Small Table), and then imported back into the workflow later, by importing from this internal location and just selecting "Small Table" from an available list within the workflow.
I appreciate this can be done by saving to a file on the hard drive and then reloading but this has complications when sharing workflows such as admin priviledges to write to the specified location, and also if a file already exists at this location etc.
