Apologies for spamming this forum; I think my suggestions are worthwhile, but obviously I am biased 
The
icon executes a node and subsequently opens the view associated with that node. When the node is already executed, the icon is greyed out and cannot be clicked. This is somewhat frustrating for my muscle memory, because depending on whether the node is already executed or not I have to perform a different mouse operation if I want to open the view window.
I suggest to not grey out this icon when the node is already executed. In that case clicking the icon should simply result in opening the view window.
