File Upload Widget bug after upgrading to Knime AP 5.3

Hello KNIME Community,

I recently updated to KNIME 5.3 and now I’m having trouble with the File Upload Widget. After “Execute and open view” (whether encapsulated in a component or not), I can choose my file, but nothing happens afterward (no messages when closing & applying, no file available after closing).

This works well with 5.2.5 (I’ve downgraded the workflow to open it in 5.2.5).

Any ideas on what I might be missing or what else I can try?

Hey @LPL,

Is there anything in the KNIME.log that might indicate a problem? Are you able to share the log and/or the workflow you used? I just tried it and for me it seems to work as expected.

FUW - Example.knwf (82,1 Ko)
Does it run normally with you ?

Hey @LPL,

your attached workflow contains an error in the defined file formats for the file upload widget (…mp4 instead of .mp4) but after correcting that everything works as expected for me.
