i am asking myself if i can solve the following problem with KNIME:
I need to develop or find (if it already exists) a tool that does the following:
I have two Excel lists with data records. One list contains approximately 6,000 data records and the other 50 data records. These data records are items or screws. For few items in the 6,000-record list, there are four similar items in the 50-record list. Properties such as description, price, item number, etc. are of course different, but they are the same item. How can i use KNIME to find the other four similar items in the 50-record list based on a description?
Perhaps you can give some data examples that we can look at and also explain how you would identify “same” items if you were performing this manually.
If all the data you have in the two lists are different, what is your process for being confident that two items are actually the same? And similarly if two items look the same but aren’t, how do you confidently determine they are not the same? (when performing this manually)

Hier is an example. In the excel Data there are 2 Files.
The column “RS Stock No.” shows which products are similar. I want to use the column “Beschreibung” which indicates the description in order to compare the products and show identical products
I would identify same items manually using the the columns “lenghth” and “Thread size“. I also used pictures to be sure that the products are the same. But the pictures are not found in the excel data i wanna work on
The xlsx-files holds one table only. So it’s hard to find out what you mean.
But I guess you want to join both tables according to the “RS Stock No.” column.
