In the CRISP-DM process model, the roadmap for a data science project starts with Business Understanding, followed by Data Understanding. However, #KNIME workflows typically begin with Data Understanding.
By incorporating the Business Understanding phase (like those found in canvas-like structures) into KNIME workflows, we could achieve more systematic and consistent project execution. This approach would leverage KNIME’s strengths throughout all project phases.
