General error with HuggingFace served models

When you run any of the Knime Hub examples for HuggingFace served models, you get this error:
“cannot override task for llm models”

Apparently this started to happen approximately 1 month ago. I’ve googled it and it seems that a workaround can be to edit the endpoint URL, but I see no way of doing this workaround in KNIME.

This is a new bug that has been found as the hugging face api has changed. The team is already working on a update to the hugging face nodes.

HF Hub LLM Connector-provide valid repo id error

Thank you for reporting this. It seems like Hugging Face changed the behavior of their API which makes it incompatible with our nodes that run an older client version. We are already working on an update that will hopefully fix this problem. Kind regards, Adrian
