Geofile Reader: not working with relative paths

Hi,

Both, Geofile Reader and Geopackage Reader, cannot read inputs from an Upload Widget. Or am I missing something here?

if that is a bug and not a special behavior on our side, it is a real showstopper at the moment.

ERROR GeoFile Reader       3:4        Execute failed: 'knime://knime.workflow/tmp/tyl2mkl1ma.zip' does not exist in the file system, and is not recognized as a supported dataset name.

Hello @Awiener ,

unfortunately the Geospatial nodes do not support the KNIME protocol. You need to convert the KNIME URL to a file path which you can do using the URL to File Path (Variable) node as shown here: Get Local File Path – KNIME Community Hub

BTW, is there a timeline for a next relase of the extension? It’s been a while since the last release, and it would be great to finally have a map image export option. That would tremendously help in Report creating.
