[Geospatial] Geospatial View & GeoFile Reader: Unable to abort viewing / processing

Hi,

when reading large files i.e. from:

https://osmdata.openstreetmap.de/data/land-polygons.html

And trying to view them, the Geospatial View seems to be stuck at 10 % reading. I am unable to abort the process as well.

PS: The Geospatial View did abort but with significant delaay of about one to two minutes.

PPS: It happens, starting to process then halting at 10 %, for pretty much all nodes.

ERROR Geocoding 3:63 Interrupted while waiting for thread to stop.

Hello @mwiegand ,
unfortunately it is not always easy to report proper progress especially when working with external libraries. But we have ticket to look into it. We did already some investigation but so far haven’t found a straight forward solution.
