Google Authenticator - authentication type API Key

I don’t know why this isn’t working, does anyone have or know of a video that shows how to set up the api key google authenticator? In another thread, I was given some screen shots in conjunction with another question, but it doesn’t seem to be working:

It appears that the credentials worked, the Google Sheets Connector shows green, but the google sheets reader gives me an error.

I’ve created the IAM credentials and key, which appears to have made the credentials portion work.

It looks to me that I have enabled access to Google Sheets, but as reflected in the reader node, I’m getting an error that I don’t have permission.

I’ve downloaded the json that is required in the node:

The error I get is that the caller doesn’t have permission:

Am I needing to share the sheet with tidal analogy? Is there privacy if the answer is yes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is indeed tricky and the UI from the Google Dev Console doesn’t make things easier. Ideally you create a p12 file but json suffices as well.

403 clearly indicated access for the used credentials is wrong so I assume the user email and secret are incorrect. Please check my comment in this post for further guidance:

Hi @ebarr, did you really generate the JOSN in the Google Dev Console by creating a project? That process, because of the UI from Google, is rather confusing. Once you have created a project, you need to create a service account from within you can create a key as a p12 or JSON file. [image] Best Mike

When granting access to Google Analytics it was also required to add the email from the Google Dev Console as a user … which is the most annoying and contradicting aspect about the process.
