Hi,

I am not a techie. I would like to do a text analysis of google group messages.

But I am unable to find any solution for 'data liberation' except by writing scripts/programming.

Would be glad, if someone could help me out with a non programming method.

Downloading back up of google account didnt help much.

Hi,

if Google provides no official API (not sure about that), you could try to scrape the data using the Selenium nodes.

Hi,

Mine is Knime 3.1.0 version.

Unable to install selenium extensions. why is it so?

the details are as follows:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
  Software being installed: Selenium for KNIME 1.0.0.201602292256 (ws.palladian.nodes.selenium.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.201602292256)
  Missing requirement: Selenium for KNIME 1.0.0.201602292256 (ws.palladian.nodes.selenium 1.0.0.201602292256) requires 'bundle org.knime.workbench.core [3.1.0,4.0.0)' but it could not be found
  Cannot satisfy dependency:
    From: Selenium for KNIME 1.0.0.201602292256 (ws.palladian.nodes.selenium.feature.feature.group 1.0.0.201602292256)
    To: ws.palladian.nodes.selenium [1.0.0.201602292256]

Hi,

you're obviously installing the correct version for KNIME 3.1, so I'm currently not sure, why this error occurs.

Are you installing on a freshly downloaded KNIME? Which platform? Not the SDK, right? Could you please try downloading a fresh copy of KNIME 3.1.1 and re-try?
