Heatmap node

Hi all,

Are you aware of an upper limit to the heatmap node?
Tried to feed it with relatively large symmetrical matrix as data data table of random values 0-1. Works for 1000x1000, but halts for a 2000x2000… any idea why?

It does not crash, but stands there forever… Have plenty of memory allocated (32GB).
When mouse-over on the progress indicator is says “Retrieving generated image…”

Hi @kolster -

I just tried to reproduce the problem on my system (AP 4.7.1, Windows 10) but couldn’t - the Heatmap node executed OK.

I used a Data Generator instead of an Excel Reader to produce the data in my case.

Could you provide an example workflow and dummy dataset that reproduces the problem on your end?
